(TIU) visited newly assigned ministers.

Over a number of discrete high-level meetings, a delegation representing Tishk International University (TIU), under the presidency of Dr. Idris Hadi Salih (Head of the board of trustees), visited the recently appointed Ministers of the Interior and Electricity on August 26, 2019.

In the first meeting, the delegation was welcomed by Mr. Kamal Muhammed Salih, Minister of Electricity of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, congratulated Mr. Kamal for his new appointment and he took this opportunity to look forward to working closely with- and strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of Electricity and TIU. He stated that he believed that Mr. Kamal will bring a wealth of experience to bear on his new office. He said that in transforming and repositioning the ministry of electricity. Mr. Kamal thanked the TIU delegation and he hoped that he will be in the level of Kurdish people desire and imaginations for the new cabinet.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Idris Hadi gave a plaque of appreciation to Mr. Kamal Muhammed Salih, Minister of Electricity

In the second meeting, the TIU delegation was welcomed by Mr. Rebar Ahmed Khalid, Minister of the Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

Dr. Idris congratulated Mr. Rebar Ahmed Khalid in detail upon assumption of his new responsibilities as the Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). He said that “We at the TIU pledge our further support and look forward to productive cooperation”. Dr. Idris wished ‘good health and wisdom’ to inspire the Minister when running the affairs of the ministry effectively. He also called for unity to stress the protection of Kurdistan as a number one priority as he believes that working together will always make Kurdistan better.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Idris Hadi gave a plaque of appreciation to Mr. Rebar Ahmed Khalid, Minister of the interior.
