ISHIK UNIVERSITY An ISO granted university with high international standards in Erbil.
A delegate from Ishik University paid a courtesy visit to the Foreign Relations Office of KDP where the guests were welcomed by the Head Hemen Hawrami. Ishik University’s President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş gave a brief information about the university and its education by stating that Ishik is a non-profit university that invests the money made for education and for further development of the university.
The Head Hawrami expressed his pleasure to get to know of Ishik University. Hemen Hawrami also gave a brief information about Kurdistan Regional Government’s developments that from which point they have reached at today. However, he pointed that the ISIS attacks to Kurdistan and in the Middle East led thousands of refugees to flew to Kurdistan. This case put Kurdistan Region into a difficult situation that caused an economic crisis and social problems as well. However, as Kurdistan, they have not turned their faces back to those who are in need, not only economically but also socially, too.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş has presented a plaque to Hemen Hawrami and finally Rector Öztaş has invited him to Ishik University.
