Interior design department is defined as the art and science of decorating different types of buildings. A wider definition would include the design of any interior built space and environment, structure, landscape to furniture and objects.
Our department offers a program consists of professional courses including methodological and pedagogical approaches to teach the students how to become a successful interior designer, and the skills to work within many disciplines (architecture, graphic design, decorative arts, textile, furniture, and lighting design).
Interior designers are expected to have working knowledge of:
·Furniture, materials, color, space planning, sustainability
·Software applications (2D & 3D)
·Structural requirements, health and safety issues
