DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER ENGINEERING

The program of Computer Engineering covers a wide range of engineering applications which embodies mathematics, science, and technology to design, implement and perform maintenance of hardware and software systems, computer-controlled equipment, and network systems. The history of the computer engineering department at Ishik University dating back to 2009-2010 as one of the seven engineering departments under the Faculty of Engineering. The Department was founded as part of the University's strategic plan of developing the manpower needs in key technologies required to provide the foundation for the 21st century technological developmental base for the community, marketing forces, and regional needs. Computer engineering is solidly grounded in the theories and principles of computing, mathematics, science, and engineering and it applies these theories and principles to solve technical problems through the design of computing hardware, software, networks, and processes.
