Today 20/10/2016 the first day of English language school student’s classes has started at Ishik University continuing education Center. Student’s classes this morning after receiving the curriculum and supplementary materials required accordingly with their level. The students were distributed into two classrooms – one class for started level and one class for Elementary level. They will study here for 3 levels of English language. Ishik University student project was appreciated and selected for the Global Entrepreneurship Challenge bootcamp session which will be held on November 7th and 8th during the 2016 World Engineering Education Forum at Seoul, South Korea.  Zhikar N. Saeed Ishik University student joined to the project with a team, which include ,Dana Sadraddin, Izzet Ghazi from Soran University, and Umed Pakpur from Asphahan University in Iran. Ishik University arranged a welcome ceremony on the campus concerning the new academic year 2016-2017. The organization was held at 10:00 o’clock on October 16, 2016. The interest in the program was pretty good:  All senior and academic staff were ready beside the students. The event started with the welcome speech by the President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş who, in his speech, welcomed the students to university for the new academic year and gave a briefing about some good news such as accreditation process conducted by German accreditation agency named ZEvA Institution, joint master program with Polytechnic University, and collaboration with DAFI and HOPES [...]

Ishik University has made a collaboration agreement with DAFI (The German Albert Einstein Refugee Academic Initiative) and HOPES (Higher and Further Education Opportunities and Perspective for Syrians). The university aimed at raising the awareness of her students concerning the things happening around; in the region the existence of the people in need and hopeless is inevitable. The delegate composing of Askal Tilahuna Protection Officer and Vaman Ameen Education Association of DAFI and HOPES Scholarships were welcomed by the president Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş.
