As part of their monitoring and follow-up procedures, a committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – KRG visited the University on 22nd May 2019. The committee was headed by                Dr. Dawood Atrushi, General Director of Engineering and Projects, MHE-KRG and Dr. Jamal Kamal, General Supervisor of Private Universities and Institutes. Other members included staff from other public universities.
