Students celebrated mawlid nabi

Mawlid is birth, and the birth of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) is the rebirth of the Earth. “If you were not so I would not create the Earth” Qudsi hadith explains that how the birth of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) is worthy by Allah.

That is why Muslims celebrate this day as a holiday. He is the representative of Islam which is the religion of peace and today we, as Muslims, and all humanity need the real meaning of the holy message of the Quran. At the time of his birth, humanity was in perversion, ignorance, and denial of belief. The unbelief in Allah was causing an oppression against the women, weak people and slaves. They were facing immoral and inhumane behaviors. The world was in the lurch.

On November 27, 2018, Students Deanery organized a memorial event for the Mawlid, inviting all of the Students of the Ishik University.

The program started by reading some verses from the Holy Qur’an then live performance has proceeded. In the last session of the event Dr. Fatih Sharstani, Islamic Scholar, presented a seminar about the life, attitude, and ethics of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) among people, which he sacrificed all of his life to teach us how to respect each other and live together peacefully. He mentioned that scientists are the closest one to their God, referring for being a strong relation between the Sciences and verses of the Qur’an.
